Welcome to Your School Pride Golf-A-Thon
The future of high school golf teams across the country are in jeopardy. While school administration steadily reduces the amount of support for high school sports. The costs of running a high school golf team are continuing to increase. With the increases in coach's salaries, travel, team matches, practice time, equipment and team apparel, more and more of these expenses are falling on the golf team members, coaches and their families.
We at Your School Pride believe that high school golf provides an opportunity for teens to grow socially, emotionally and physically in a competitive environment that will benefit the individual for a life time. From this mission statement Your School Pride has developed and perfected our High School Golf-A-Thon.
Your School Pride Golf-A-Thon is a 54-hole, one day event where each golfer will obtain pledges per hole. 100% of these pledges will go to the High School Golf Team. Each golf team member should have a goal of $5.00 per hole pledged for a total pledge of $270.00. A 10 member golf team should raise $2700 on a fun filled day of playing golf. Through the national and local sponsorship efforts of Your School Pride, we will give the golf team $500 to cover the cost of the golf and meals. Your School Pride will all advertising, pledge forms and apparel for each event.
